Maybe, against most top teams their midfield would run rings around him but Scholes, Carrick, Fletcher etc. aren't exactly quick or agile themselves. However I think our best chance of beating them is to play a high energy game with lots of closing down and I'm not sure Vieira would be able to cope with that.

I don't want Vieira to start. He could've started against Liverpool if the idea was to rest De Jong for the Semi - but he didn't feature.
