Always makes me laugh when some City fans slag Vieira off saying he's shit etc. The guy is a winner and one of the best players to have ever played in the premier league.

Too much is made of 'pace', he's more mobile than Hammann who I seem to remember did alright for us

Mancini signed Vieira citing his winning mentality - yet City have won nothing whilst he's been at the Club. The Lad is training all the time but never getting a start against average Premiership sides. Let alone title contenders. This speaks volumes and is my number one reason why he shouldn't start tomorrow. He doesn't deserve too.

I wanted to start a topic about vieira! his contract runs out at end of season, but I think we need him to stay, ive heard rumours that hes a huge leader in dressing room and a major man manager and someone who all the younger players go to. Especially considering Mancini is useless with the players one to one.

Makes a big impact when he comes on and does his job well. I hope he starts against united or atleast gets 25 mins. He is a hero!
