My most memorable matches (good or bad) attended:
1. April 1963: A 1-0 win over double holders Spurs thanks to an Alex Harley goal that failed to save City from relegation.
2. January 1965: A 1-3 cup defeat at Shrewsbury in a replay that marked the worst point for City.
3. January 1965: Four days later a 1-2 home defeat by Swindon in front of 8,015 at Maine Road.
4. New Years Day 1966: A 2-0 win over second placed Huddersfield in front of 47,171 at Maine Road with goals by Doyle and Crossan.
5. May 1966: A 1-0 win at Rotherham to secure promotion with a goal by Bell.
6. August 1966: A 2-1 win over Liverpool in the first home match in Division One with goals by Bell and Murray.
7. December 1967: A 4-1 win over Spurs, the ballet on ice! Goals by Summerbee, Coleman, Young and Bell.
8. March 1968: A 3-1 win at the swamp after going behind from the kick-off thanks to Heslop, Lee and Bell.

11. March 1970: A 2-1 win over WBA in the League Cup Final after going behind with goals by Pardoe and Doyle.
12: April 1970: A 5-1 second leg win over FC Shalke 04 to overcome a first leg deficit and reach the ECWC Final with Goals by Young (2), Bell, lee and Doyle.
13: April 1970: A 2-1 win over Gornik Zabrze at the Prata Stadium in Vienna to win the ECWC with goals by Young and Lee.
14: April 1971: A 1-0 home defeat by Chelsea in the ECWC semi-final second leg. This was one of the most frustrating matches ever with Chelsea flooding the midfield and stopping anything approaching football.
15. February 1972: A 0-3 defeat at Anfield. City had been knocked out of the cup in the third round and brought forward the match against Liverpool to try and build a unassailable lead in Division One. This was the beginning of the end of City's championship hopes although the slump only set in four matches later after Rodney Marsh was signed.
16. March 1974: A 1-2 defeat by Wolves in the League Cup Final despite a goal by Bell.
17. April 1974: A last minute 1-0 win at the Swamp with a Denis Law backheel as United were relegated. This was City's sixth League win at Old Trafford in seven years (the other was a draw).
18. February 1976: A 2-1 win in the League Cup Final against Newcastle thanks to goals by Barnes and Tueart.
19. April 1981: A 1-0 win at Villa Park over Ipswich in the FA Cup semi-final with a Paul Power goal.
20. April 1997: A 1-2 defeat in Division Two to Bolton despite a superb Kinkladze free kick. Bolton looked vastly stronger than City in all departments.
21. October 2011: City's first ever Champions' League win over Villareal with an Aguero goal deep into injury time.
