There are not many good left backs out there. Atleast not for sale..
Kolarov cost us 2 points yesterday.
1. Attack: He should had made a simple pass to 2 of our available strikers in front of empty goal to put the game to bed as 2-0, but he thought that the assist won't make him famous and decided to show his wonderful shooting skill from that narrowest angle instead.
2. Defend: He didn't focus on his job defensively enough and cost equalized goal. To left Duff freely unmarked in the critical area is a crime, and when he realized Duff could cause a damage or two, it was too late to catch or block Duff's cross with his snail's pace.

He should have crossed when he took the shot on, but to say there were players unmarked in the middle is untrue - there were two City strikers with 3 fulham defenders.
HE didn't cost us any points, a poor, all round team performance did.

He did'nt (and Toure did'nt/level with Duff) have the gumption to offer a token block-out knowing that the ball was going to be crossing his path pretty fuckin soon...wank play.. any which way you spin it.

He is a weird one.
- So painfully slow.
- 90% of his shots/crosses/set pieces are completely wasteful
- Positionally all over the place with defending.
I just don't know, maybe he will come good. Like a previous poster pointed out though, there are very few good left backs. I really think we need a left back with lightning pace though.
