The tour hasn’t started well…
I honestly don’t get the blind loyalty of some music fans. If City play shit, then we’ll pretty much all admit that we played shit.
He generally always does escape scrutiny, i wonder how such a talented drummer as Reni feels when he sees him upfront in full flow.Simple fact is that he’s a fucking shit live singer and always has been. I find it utterly astonishing how anyone can defend his singing but there are those that do just that. It’s possible to be fans of his music and that of the Stone Roses - that first Roses album is a studio masterpiece IMO and some of his solo stuff is decent - but also be critical of his live performances. I saw the Roses at the Etihad in 2016 and he escaped a lot of scrutiny simply because the crowd were bailing him out by singing over him but if you get a gig where the crowd aren’t as up for it then you truly get to hear how shite he is.

Couldn't agree more.If Pete Best was the unluckiest person in the history of rock and roll then Ian Brown must be the luckiest seldom has anyone so talentless been heralded to the extent he has. It's almost cultish the way some middle aged samba wearing middle aged blokes worship him. And if we can go on about Carragher and his fake OTT scouse accent Brown along with Terry Christian have the most affected Mancunian accents and Brown isn't even from Manchester.
Yeah mate - just as I would with most of my favourite bands even if they put in a below par performance. I’m not sure what your comment is getting at Mark - I’m just calling out Brown’s wank live singing and how some fans don’t want to admit it. It’s the same as some deluded **** saying we put in a fantastic display when we got turned over in the CL final against Chelsea. But you would still go and support every week ?
