Ian Brown

It's not an excuse, his singing was shit. Absolute garbage. But the backlash has been disproportionate. The guy is a shit singer. Even his fans admit he is shit. He's been shit for at least a decade, and I would argue longer still. His fans know he is shit, anyone who paid to go and see him must have known what to expect. And yet for some reason the social media crowd are now piling on.

How many absolutely wank live performances by other performers go uncommented on each day?

Social media has decided that he will be punished, and the pile on started. The knives were out.
Maybe the fact that he had no band might be a contributory factor? Fans will be feeling short changed (ripped off?) by him. It was a shitty stunt by him. But one in keeping with the type of man he gives the impression of being. Will he make a gesture, maybe refund 25% of the ticket price as an apology of sorts?

Oh my fuckin good god.

What the mother funky is that? No band? Out of tune?

Listen, I'm a huge roses fan, his voice isn't the best and that's being polite but that what I have just witnessed is shambolic.

I think even if you was pissed it'd still sound shite. He was on thin ice after his anti covid bollocks but I think this will end him once and for all.

What a fuckin bum that fella is.

It looked like an audition for the Piccadilly rats frontman job on market street

I was surprised by the twitter backlash, but then I remembered that he was outspoken on Covid. So the knives will always be out for him now. Obviously his singing was shite, but the backlash has been disproportionate. And IMO that's fuelled by social media being out to take him down.

aww another anti jab fanboy
