Can imagine lots of the mundane stuff on his social media is done by someone else, but doubt they’d post something like that unless he specifically requested it.

Like you say, he probably doesn’t give a shit what people think but he’s a bellend for putting that out regardless, and that’s from someone who loves the Roses.

The evening news was suggesting his account had been hacked but the twitter account for John squire tweeted completely the opposite to what Ian brown said.
If they are both trying to have a joke or be clever they've gone about it completely the wrong way.

I honestly think he isn't on twitter or does twitter Ric, am positive that someone else does it for him but it's still connected to him.
He has the old punk attitude of not giving a shit what people think, that was always the roses outlook on things.

He liked punk so punk attitude I understand. Some should take a listen to his solo albums. His music and lyrics are top quality IMO. I'm not condoning what he's alleged to have said or actually said. If he has then he's out of order and a dick, especially in this modern daygoldfish bowl wanna know now snowflake society Twitter twats hanging on every tweet as gospel truth. Twitter is truly dreadful and full of moron I'm not interested in.

I met him through work a few times about 15 years ago and he was a polite down to earth nice guy. Also know a bloke who went to school with him who has nothing negative to say about him.
That tweet is just dumb as F tho. Who said no such thing as bad publicity

I had similar interactions with him. Brown was a regular customer at a shop I worked in as a student, he was always friendly to the staff and seemed down to earth. If other customers went up for a picture he'd always oblige and have a chat. I don't agree with his tweets, I'm not sure what he's thinking of there. Like you say, no such thing as bad publicity, but he's made a dick of himself there.

I hope I die before it dies if this is what the world is coming to. There was a time when people went out to socialise and actually talk to each other. Nowadays everywhere you go people are staring at their phones. I'm guilty of it myself but I don't post on Twitter or read it. Tried half a dozen tweets and wasn't for me. It's dreadful but I'm probably being close to being a FOC and a know nowt window licker; )

Playground stuff mate.......typing shit to people you'll never meet or if you do wouldn't say fuck all.


Real life is different to cyberspace..........you can say what you like on here but face to face it's a lot more dangerous.

Ripples is a brilliant album, I'd say a few could even pass as roses tunes, from chaos to harmony is a heartbreaker, it's his final love letter to the roses, buried in that song.
I hate twitter, full of nutters, racists, shithouses, you name it it's full of them, anyone can be 10 men when you're invisible to everybody.

Ripples is a brilliant album, I'd say a few could even pass as roses tunes, from chaos to harmony is a heartbreaker, it's his final love letter to the roses, buried in that song.
I hate twitter, full of nutters, racists, shithouses, you name it it's full of them, anyone can be 10 men when you're invisible to everybody.

Not too familiar with Ripples. Not got album myself but I bought gf it and I've heard it a few times. FCTH and FWP I play regularly, both great tracks. It's the rest of the tracks I need to play more(YouTube) to get a feel for. Music Of The Spheres was the album I first got into. I like it the best, nice and mellow for chilling to. Solarized and The World Is Yours are not far behind. Those 3 albums listen I to most.

I've got unfinished monkey business, solarized and golden greats, solarized is my favourite one, some great tunes on there.
