Isn’t that like blaming this forum when someone posts bollocks?

I don’t understand attacking them medium rather than the message.
I suppose so, but twitter even more than forums seems to be populated by folk hovering waiting to be outraged at the utterance of an attention seeker. The issue isn't so much that Ian Brown tweeted his opinion, or that it's being discussed, more that twitter created the illusion that Ian Browns opinion on the response to a global pandemic matters any more than the scientific communities opinion on the roses second album.

Of course Twitter gives everyone a chance to sound off in front of an audience and him being famous his comments are going to garner a huge response including overreactions. To me I’d compare Brown to one of these guys in the city centre spouting off about religion and just ignore him

Fucking rag as well I think?

Yeah no probs. I'd like to meet Ian Brown. Heard most of his solo stuff and my gf has all his albums thanks to me. She loves listening to him. I stand by what I say, he's a good artist song writer and musician. And a rag. Met Manni 2 or 3 times several years ago at a pub he drank in out in the sticks. I asked him why he drank there and he said it was because he was trying to avoid all the fandom and adulation. I just spoke to him like a normal guy, got on pretty well and had a laugh with him. Probably 10 years ago now.
Failsworth ledge........

Poor comments but I won't be burning his CDs/DVDs just yet unless he's been racially insensitive, abused children, or drowned a guy in his pool.

Sorry mate - just that he was from Failsworth.

The only thing more famous than its pole...........
No worries. Thought it was a name of a current or former boozer somewhere around failsworth, as I know it was also famous for the amount of pubs on Oldham Road. Mani used to drink in the Best of Brass in Mossley, out of the way from town. My mates Mrs was landlady at the time, had a couple of lock-ins when he was there. Lol. He's a character: )
