Ian Cheeseman (and his VLOGs)

Stopped listening to Manchester radio's coverage of the away games after he was dropped. He was the only thing that compensated for the intolerable constant breaking off from commentary to update other games. Manchester radio needs to understand that if they are covering a game that's what you do and if they want an updating stream like Sky Sports news you do it on another station/channel.
I listen to the commentary feed on the OS most matches. For the Derby the commentary was split 50/50 between the City and Rag's commentator, and it was absolute bullshit. Why the f**k would I want to listen to the Rag's commentary of our game?

I don't know what loyalty Cheesy has towards the BBC, but I wouldn't expect he has much left after the way he's been treated . There is probably a lot more to this story, but I guess the scumbags at the BBC will be doing their upmost best to ensure that any negative shit towards them is covered by non-disclosure clauses.

I really hope that when all this is over, the Club seriously consider sacking off the BBC and employing Cheesy as an in house match commentator, because his passion and knowledge of the Club is unquestionable.

AGIAC; FACT!

Of course, goes without saying but he does spout more than most about referees and their bad decisions. Anyway, I hope to hear Cheesy on some or other airwaves in the near future, smashing commentator and a true blue, keep your chin up Cheesy if you're around these pages at all.

Heard last 10 minutes on radio and commentary was poor and couldn't believe they left game for a half time rugby report with about 2 minutes left
Jimmy Wagg on Blue Tuesday very repetitive and it always feels like im listening to last week's show
Like to see Cheesy back but it's looking doubtful

But Alan Green seems to get away with saying virtually anything when he has a go at officials during commentary, so I take it he's one of the 'protected' ones?

he is clever in how he does it and never classes anybody cheating at the premier league FA you can question the ref but never call him a cheat and point out what and were and others getting away with it over your team it just not british and the bbc. also he is the head of the bbc sport team so got a little bit more power than a local presenter. but like i said you did not need to go on your twitter account to call out the ref and the FA as cheating it was plain to see and everybody at the game or watching live knew what was happening and in away it was silly of cheesy to do so on twitter and what would it achieve other than whats happening now

he is a professional commentator and been doing long enough to know you just can not do that sort of thing and in today 24 hour 7 days a week 52 weeks a year in media somebody is going to catch you out so maybe he wanted out and knew what he was doing or just plain daft

I know the switch to the rugby report at the end as our game was just about to go into injury time was unbelievable!
Plus Jack Dearden didn't know the rules last week regarding the subs in the FA Cup.

Really is very poor what is going on at Radio Manchester. Won't be listening again to the commentary or Blue Tuesday anymore which is probably what they want.

you know what gone on and we all know the power in the media and with the bbc is never bite the hand that feeds you
somebody ? dare to question the officials and the ref in the chelsea game and if you watch the game a shambles is being nice and you can only call it like it was but when told to gloss over it and never question the powers at the FA in a interview even in a twitter account your asking for trouble

you have to toe the line and say what is right for the boss and not your listeners but i don't think you could not call it any other way in that chelsea game and for the love of football and manchester city he lost it and cross the line and many have done so in the past and never work again in the media and sadly its looking that way for cheesy even working for manchester city the BBC will block him and have him bang to writes its a dirty world and don't forget it
Has he not been on because of what he said after the Chelsea game, only listen to gmr for the away games,is that the reason , cant believe he could lose his job if he was having a go at the . officials. What a crock of shite.
