Ian Cheeseman (and his VLOGs)

Leaving for 'an exciting opportunity'. Interesting.

He's just tweeted that he has nothing lined up:

Liverpool have hired the ex-Times journalist Tony Barrett to be Supporter Liaison Officer. I think he starts in the role next month. I think City could do worse than look to use Ian in a similar way. I think he could help ease the disconnect with a part of the traditional fanbase.

He'd certainly be worth putting on the pay roll. Apart from any fan liason duties, he could do commentaries on the ever increasing number of youth games broadcast on facebook, he could do City Square stuff, he could do YouTube & Inside City media.

Very experienced and incredibly popular broadcaster who's a dyed in the wool blue.

There is a tweet below the one presented above that says his last City commentary looks like it was his 2,001 one which was the December Watford game. Hundreds of replys wishing him well.

Needs to be CityTV commentator.

Absolute no brainer. In fact it makes so much sense that I'd be questioning what's going on if they don't approach him.

The twat who does the commentary on highlights now is annoying and it's why I don't watch them on the OS
