Ian Mellor RIP

So sorry to hear the sad news of the passing of former City player Ian Mellor. A Manchester lad who grew up a blue and played for the club between 1967-1973.

Ian was a lovely man who I had the honour of listening to his City memories via a Tales of Blue back in 2022.

Deepest condolences to the family and friends at this difficult time.

Sad news. I watched him being interviewed on Cheeseys vlog only a few weeks ago, and whilst in good spirits, he did look frail bless him. RIP Ian, Once a blue, always a blue.

My Mum was a friend of his Mum and they visited us once when he had just started at City. I seem to recall Mum saying he was a postman before he joined.
