Ian Wright

Re: Ian Wright - 'Football Legend or Complete Tool/Sun Dickwad'?

All he wants is to get SWP keep signing new contracts, so he can leech off him. Tool. I like SWP though.

a very frightened man, scared to death of going into obscurity, look at me look at me i,m here?

Re: Ian Wright - 'Football Legend or Complete Tool/Sun Dickwad'?

He is both.

But I would urge his son to quit City in January too. As will Mancini!

If I ever go to court, I want you to do my summing up. Brilliant.

Re: Ian Wright - 'Football Legend or Complete Tool/Sun Dickwad'?

Ian Wright is a c*nt of the highest order. I used to love SWP but I am finding it increasingly difficult not to hold his father's outbursts against him. I hope he does leave us in January, I used to think he would be exactly what we needed in our squad, if not quite up to being a regular starter.

Re: Ian Wright - 'Football Legend or Complete Tool/Sun Dickwad'?

he was a great striker but now he's just an embarrassment, not least to swp. as a tv pundit he was just a incoherent & inarticulate twat. any pisshead out any pub could have done what he did. having stalled swp's career by encouraging him to move to chelsea he's now sending it on the slippery slope by using his media platform to push for a wholly unjustified pay rise.

and he 'writes' for the sun. utter knob.

Re: Ian Wright - 'Football Legend or Complete Tool/Sun Dickwad'?

Being a good footballer doesn't mean he knows what he is talking about. Not heard him speak any sense since he quite football.

People say SWP should tell him to keep quite, but i think he will be getting him to do it more. Wright has no indepth football insight.

why should he say shut up to his dad? Its his dad and he's gonna be there for him long after City. Anyway SWP staying is both waste for both parties, and he's better moving to a mid table PL club and play remaining of his career instead of spending his prime on the bench

That isn't a very good argument against SWP attempting to get his dad to stop slagging his employer off in public, is it?

Re: Ian Wright - 'Football Legend or Complete Tool/Sun Dickwad'?

Ian Wright is a complete and utter knob, always has been but I feel quite sad about what has happened with SWP.

He was my lads absolute idol and its difficult at his age to understand why he isn't playing, somewhere along the way he just lost his direction because for me he was heading for being one of the best in europe a few years ago.

I also know that a fair few reds are terrified of him, few of them in work always say "hope swp isn't playing for you lot" before the derby as he has given them some hard times over the years, its definately time for him to move on though, still think he can do very well at a top club, maybe Liverpool?

WAS a very good footballer/ IS and ALWAYS WILL BE a shit talking, hypocritical pleb.

Ian Wright in his his latest column to appear in that anti City red top 'The Scum', he urges son Shaun to quit City in January. This is ridiculous because the lad will be gone anyway on the grounds of football ineptitude!

Now call me old fashioned but, if your playing kack and demanding £100 + per annum and getting a negative response then surely, you would drop your demands and start playing like a man desperate to help his team become a top club?

Ian Wright once gave an article in which he thanked City for resurrecting son Shaun's career after being released by Nottingham Forest FC. I think on this occasion, he has talked his son out of a top job, what a fucking gobshite. Oh and he mouthed off ref NDJ after the Ben Arfa saga. Your thoughts fellow Blues??

Great player in his day, complete tool as a person. Had the misfortune of seeing him in the SPL and don't like him getting involved in the SWP contract negotiations over the last few months. Did he not say that the terms offered to SWP were derogatory?

Twat of the highest order. Don't let the door hit your arse on the way out shaun, after his performance against Lech Poznan away i've completely give up on him. Any chance of telling your dad to shut the fuck up!

was a great player and used to love watching him and imo should have been given more of an opp of playing for England but regarding his comments re swp completly barking mad , he's not done him any favours

No worries Ian, you can hawk him out to all those other decent sides that will want him. You should as his Dad be advising him to knuckle down, and get on with it at a club that has saved his mediocre career twice now. I remember being in school, my Dad never took my side over the teacher, Ian Right awful father, and awful advisor. SWP sign a £30k a week deal because outside of City you will not be offered anywhere near that, and you'll only be offered that at City for sentimental reasons!

You really think he's in his prime? Fair play to you for calling it if he moves to another club and is better than the player he was before he left us for Chelsea.

Now, on the subject; great player; massive twat.

Brilliant striker in his pomp, I believe we were close to signing him at one point or did I just imagine reading that?

Shame he comes out with these anti City diatribes these days and should have stuck to Nescafe advertisements and second rate programmes on Channel 5, not that I watch them or anything.

Pity that, given SWP's experience with Chelsea, he couldn't foresee this situation for the perceived good of his Son's career. It's maybe a shame he has such an inflated opinion of him that he didn't anticipate the cycle repeating itself.

I do think SWP is a good player don't get me wrong but I couldn't see him being a permanent fixture in a title winning side.
