Ibra..would you have him yes or no?

It's funny reading some of the posts about Zlatan here.

You people don't know him at all. You've read some headlines, seen some Youtube-clips...

If Zlatan comes, it's an entirely new Man City. He'll play as a playmaking striker, moving around as he pleases, and everyone else will have to adapt. He will attract all the focus and totally dominate Premier League from day one. He has won the league 10 times in the last 11 years. In 4 countries and 6 clubs. The single year he didn't win, he broke all of Milan's scoring records back to 1952 (and they have had some strikers).

Very good inside info here in Sweden says Zlatan is actively seeking a way out from PSG since Ancelotti left.

There are two options. Number 1 is Madrid. Ancelotti wants him, but his wages and the possible ego-clash with Christina are concerns of Perez. Option 2 is City. Mancini wanted him a couple of years ago, but Zlatan has zero respect for that man after their time in Inter together.

It is happening, and it is happening in the next few days.

Please be true.

Theres no "no poaching" agreement between Ancelotti & PSG and Ancelotti do fancy Ibra, but Real think he's to old.

Ibras agent also have contact with City, but he still don't know if we're seriously interested in his player.

This info comes from a journo who's close to camp Ancelotti and camp Ibrahimovic.

I heard that Ancelotti has a no poaching agreement on talksport last night, looks like it will come down to us or Chelsea.

Personally I think he is too much of a risk in terms of harmony up front.

The "no poaching agreement" doesn't exit, I still hold Madrid as favorite for his signature, and if that doesn't happen its between us /Chelsea / Scum / Napoli...

Madrid will keep Higuain or go for Suarez, Marca have said Real have ruled themselves out as well.

Napoli can't afford Ibra's wages, leaving us or Chelsea.

My money is on Chelsea.

If he comes in it will be the same as Cavani, at the expense of Aguero. Who should we prioritise keeping happy? Our reciprocally universally loved and adored beautiful 25 year old Argentinian demigod, or a 31 year old ugly as fuck Swedish journeyman?

OMFG! ZLATGODS A "JOURNEYMAN" GET A GRIP!

You gotta question a quote like that.. Im not a Ibra fanboy, but to call him a journeyman is bizarre......

If we got Ibrahimovic I would be ecstatic. One of the best strikers in the world and he would attract plenty of fans, can imagine his shirt sales alone would repay a large chunk of his transfer fee.

If it's between us and Madrid I'd fancy our chances given the fact he's coming to the end of his career and has already played for a Spanish giant - the lure of the Premier League could prove effective.

Mate, not all City fans are muppets you know ;). Some of us know how good Ibra is and are desperate for this news to be true. Fingers crossed.
I know that. :-)

Source?[/quote]

That's the thing. It's not one source. It's a dozen. All independent from each other. And everything makes sense. He came to PSG because of the promise of a new European superpower. They had a good first season, winning the league for the first time and losing out to Barca in the CL quarters on away-goals. But then Ancelotti left. Zlatan started hesitating. Laurent Blanc came in, and in his first presser he said no player is bigger than the team and that French will be the main language in the locker room. Zlatan's good friend, the world's best defender Thiago Silva, who came with him to Paris from Milan, started listening even more to the calls from Barcelona, things added up, and now he's decided to leave. And when Zlatan wants to leave, Zlatan leaves. History proves it.

As for City vs. Madrid…

Three years ago, when Zlatan left Barca, City offered more than Milan, but he chose Milan. I think the main reason was Mancini. They won 2 Scudetti together, and when they hugged during the celebrations, Zlatan said "you're welcome". He's won the leagues in Holland, Italy, Spain and France. Obviously PL is the one missing. That would be the main objective. And Champions League.

Real Madrid have Ancelotti, who he formed a close relationship with last season. But the Spanish league is a boring 2 horse race. And there are other problems in Madrid, wages, Ronaldo etc.

Ibra might actually be moving. Reports in France state that he's no longer confident in his choice of staying at PSG and wants to move and his agent is weighing up moves.

Now that's one thing I hate about his agent, Mino Raiola. The guys is a pest, if we signed Ibrahimovic by January he'll start filtering to the press that Ibrahimovic is not happy and wants to move. He's always trying to move his clients every year.

Unfortunately we don`t make a mint on shirt sales as a profit margin.
