Ibra

If ade is off , following the rumours then it may well be ibra on his way in , it wouldnt surprise me tbh . 500k a week was utter bullshit but he will be on bigger wages than ade me thinks . Good striker always gets at least 20 goals a season wherever he is at , he will cost alot of money . i wouldn't mind us going for forlan for much less money

Not sure why we would sell Ade to get Ibra?

Probably the two main reasons would be.

1. Branding. Ibrahimovic is one of the poster boys of world football and would be another statement of our intent and also part of our attempt to grow and expand in other markets.

2. The lack of cohesion and faith in the Adebayor/Tevez partnership. Adebayor can be dangerous but is a much less intelligent player than Ibra, so Ibra/Tevez may have a chance of striking a better understanding.

The risk is Ibra doing a Berbatov with his casual attitude and flopping badly for us, in which case we just get laughed at some more since we have no financial concerns.

Ibra is also turning 29 soon. Why do we not keep Ade, I am sure he can get 20 goals a season as well, he has done so before. Even last season he scored what 14 goals despite being out for long parts of the season.

Ibra is also an even bigger Egomaniac than Ade, in case some people want to argue that Ade is a troublemaker or has a big ego or anything.
