Milan YES City no.

Basically, his preferred option is to stay at Barca, otherwise the only club he would consider is AC Milan.

El Mundo Deportivo is closely linked with FC Barcelona, and is a Catalan Sports daily.

In spite of the movements of the club, Zlatan refuses to go to Manchester City Its position gives to fret with the desired by Barça barter operation Your first option is staying and only accept track 'rossonera' C. Roura - 18/08/2010 03: 00 FC Barcelona or Milan, those are two unique valid alternatives for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, which has been discarded completely stop at Manchester City because it is not a team Champions but only Europe League, whose previous ida will face tomorrow before the Romanian Timosoara. Swedish International knows that Barcelona has tried to place him, due to its high tab, surpassed only by the Messi and possibly problematic character in case of prolonged fallback, but would only accept go team, morbosamente, measured at Barça 8 days in the Gamper.

Always with knowledge of the environment of Zlatan, Barcelona has maintained contacts with English as a whole, knowing that it can assume the payment of his salary - about 12 million euros annually - and there is also the possibility of a barter, operation that ended not realized due to the refusal of the FC '9' to go to the city.

Contacts between the clubs bluered and English have occurred even at the highest level, while the agent of Ibra abreast; to the dessert, Mino Raiola has placed another of its represented, Mario Balotelli, in the team coached by Roberto Mancini, for its great part Zlatan admirer. Italian technician stated a few months ago that "for me Ibra is the best front center of the world".

Two big stick

Mancini suspirara already since last winter by Ibra and economic solvency of the city market was precisely which led to Barcelona to call that door, especially when for Zlatan could be also a reinforcement of the taste of Pep at zero cost.

However, in the end this route failed. Trusted to overcome the resistance of Ibra, which, as already reported on July 26, MD always had understood from its environment that the city was not to their liking by sports issues.

Ibra has maintained its resounding 'no', so now the only possible for him destination is Milan AC; both President Silvio Berlusconi as the 'off-season' and the technical staff led by Massimiliano Allegri worked delighted with the former interista, but for the Barcelona there are two big stick: the 'rossoneri' cannot afford the entire tab of Ibra and advocate the formula of a transfer; without ruled out altogether possible exchange, the Milan initially did not pay transfer and address maximum 60% of the tab for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

His family, his wife Helena Seger returned delighted to Italy; when it could especially has been in Milan to attend fashion shows and Swedish media reported his lack of adaptation to Barcelona and potential problems with school children.

Right now 83% of Barca fans want to keep him.

It's not Zlatans fault that Guardiola has no clue how to play him.
It's not Zlatans fault that he must stand in Messi's shadow, not allowed a fight to be the nr1 in the world.

Barca is a strange club with motives I can't seem to grasp, unless economical.

I'm not impressed by any of those videos.
He dosnt look like anything special at all, this talk of 30m + robbie would be unbelievably bad.

Wouldnt pay more than 25m total and thats assuming robbie is worth roughly 15m.

Balotelli & Tevez > Ibra

1st, Hey everyone, Inter fan here. Just cruisin the web reading up on how the city fans are leooking at the prospect of signing Ibra. Hope y'all don't mind an Inter fan bugging you.

Don't worry I won't be around much anyways. .)

2nd, this post annoyed me a bit. You'd think I'd be used to it with 10 years of English criminally underating his talents, but guess not. You're telling me you're not impressed with that second video? He played for 90 minutes total in that vid (45+45 min), with Barca's B team and scored two well taken goals, and could and probably should easily of had 2 assists + a few other half chances created.

That's not impressive for a less than half fit player, in 90 minutes?

Maybe this is more impressive then:

Anyways, all his goals and assists aside. Maybe you'll be more impressed if he does sign for you and you start noticing that he doesn't always score hatricks, or doubles, and isn't always awesome, but has an odd knack of always scoring, or creating or directly assisting the number of goals needed to win his team the match. Even, at Barca he almost always scores when they're behind, and there his true talent is not even being used right, he's just stuck inside the box.

His true talent is that he's able to trap an insecure pass, hold on to it and let his team advance in positions. He does this just standing still, which isn't needed at Barca because the they just pass their way around. In fact there it looks like he's slowing down the play. A less talented team, or any other team except Barcelona really, having a player like that, who can do that, and score goals and create assists from nowhere, is invaluable. That's the reason he always win league titles. Every manager has used him this way except Pep, who honestly doesn't know what to do with him. Even Mourinho, who's notorious for organization, realized it was best to give him a free role.

Someone very famous once said, "Ibrahimovic doesn't run football, he walks it, and that's all he needs to dominate". Maybe you'll understand if you're lucky enough to have him sign for you.

As for giving barca Robinho. Not gonna happen. They don't want him. Guardiola and the club have made that clear on a few occasions. If you wnat him you have to pay up.

Regarding Balotelli, who's another of our players: He's gonna piss you off, but have patience with him. It's not easy being a black kid in Italy. He's got his chips on his shoulders, but once he grows out of it he'll dominate. Promise.

Rambled on long enough...

Just posted on another thread that Barcelona have asked us to make a bid for Ibra (according to talkSPORT). Interesting if true.

Now this would cause me a problem, iv just had Silva on the back of my home shirt.

Home - Silva
Away - Balo or Yaya or Ibra
3rd - Tevez

Too close to call on the away shirt.

He would be an immense signing, but id rather us get another cb to partner Kompany, unless Kolos form from saturday was not just a flash in the pan and we are about to see the best from him now little brothers here!

Bollocks to all these big name players who may come and go... My shirts are gonna be

#4 Kompany (Away)
#5 Zabaleta (Home)
#7 Fish (third) (my number for my local team and my nickname)

Love the attitude and professionalism of these players

So to summarize if all is to be believed:

Barcelona want to sell Ibra
City want Ibra
Milan want Ibra
Ibra wants to go to Milan
Ibra doesn't want to go to City
City can afford Ibra
Milan can't afford Ibra (and want him on loan)

my take on the article is that his bird wants to go back to Italy to watch fashion shows and doesn't fancy England in the wintertime.

Sounds about right.

Ibra does want to come to the Premiership but he's not prepared to forgo Champions League. His family are also much more comfortable in Italy right now so I don't think a quick move to England appeals to him at all. He wants to prepare properly for that if he does come here.

All eyes on Dzeko! Who also wants to go to Italy...

WE LOVE YOU ADE!

Barca wanting to sell Ibra is a true statment, but it is not a complete statement. Something needs to be added. All I will say is our business is no where near done in this window. Never count out our management and expect the unexpected.

... And that's what will probably count against us in the end.

I wouldn't rely too much on sources from Elmundodeportivo, Sport, or Marca. They're the Spanish version or Thesun and Newsoftheworld. The few times they get things right, it's due to avarages, and getting their sources from more credible papers like Gazzetta, or the Guardian.

Ibrahimovic recently said he'd one day like to play in the Premiership. In the past he's said, about Man City, that Mancini will be a great coach for City, and that you'll be a top club in the next few years. Mancini said, back in January that Ibra is the best striker in the World, so obviiously the respect is mutual.

Ibra also said when he played for Inter, right around the time you guys tried to get Kaka, lucky you he turned you down, that he wouldn't know what he would do if he'd get an offer like that, so obviously he's not against going to City. Not competing in Cl might be an issue though.

But here's the situation as I see it. Man City are yet to make an offer that Barca could accept. They don't want Robinho, and City won't let Tevez go. In my guess, if there's any truth to City having genuine interest you are waiting untill the last week of the deadline to make it to get the price down as much as possible.

All the rest of the press, is just two clubs using the media back and forth to "feel" each other out. If something's gonna happen, it will happen by the end of this week, or in the beginning of next.
