Leverkusen must be in a very healthy financial position given they signed quite a few new sponsorship deals following the success and flogged a few for big profits , Wirtz being a huge profit. Think that puts them in a strong position to hold onto him till after the World Cup and probably another season if they feal his value is likely to increase.

Have to watch him more. I see a good player on the highlights. And that's not a necessarily a good thing. The highlights of most good players tend to be off the wall

That said, some players are better than their highlights because of the simple things they do consistently well. And the ability to avoid doing bad things.
