I get so angry when this disease claims anyone. It is such a cruel and unforgiving illness. It took my father when I was just 5 ( my dad was only 38) and left a huge hole. Fortunately the treatments and survival rates have improved massively and we can only hope that soon we can fight it completely.
Devastating time for the Toure family. We feel your sorrow and are thinking about you. Be strong and remember all the happy times you have shared - family time is so precious.

I feel pretty stupid for joining in on the "angry mob" of the cake thing, and how yaya handled it. Now thinking however long yaya has known about his brothers cancer, and how well he handled the run in shows more about him than any twitter nonsense ever will.

Utterly devastating for Kolo, Yaya and the Toure family. Deepest sympathy to you all.

It must have been a very aggressive cancer to take a young man so quickly. Tragic news :(
