Sad news I hope the club have done the right thing by Yaya and sent him a nice sympathy card and a big bunch of flowers.

Re above post and all the negativity .... No one but Mike knows his intended meaning of this not very offensive remark , give the guy a break and focus on the subject rather a few words that you have interpreted as offensive...

RIP Ibrahim.
28 really is no age at all. Condolences to all his family.

Thats the age of my youngest child, and it is no age.

I feel so sorry for the Toure family at the moment my wife has fought cancer for the last 7 years and it is an awful disease.

I hope they can gain strength and consolation through their religion.

May God grant him eternal rest, RIP.

How sad. No wonder Yaya has not really looked right in Brazil.
Yaya has probably known for a few months and the fact he put in performances like he has for us with that weighing on his mind you can only applaud the fella.
Like someone posted before, let us all forget about the cake nonsense and show yaya a bit of support.
Gutted for the lad.

Very sad news. RIP.

Might explain why Yaya has looked and sounded off for a while. I hope everyone but the whole cake debate aside now once and for all. More important things in life then perceptions of being slighted.

I feel pretty stupid for joining in on the "angry mob" of the cake thing, and how yaya handled it. Now thinking however long yaya has known about his brothers cancer, and how well he handled the run in shows more about him than any twitter nonsense ever will.

fuck cancer.
