ibrahimovic

doubt they'd get rid of a player that cost £3000000 million plus eto'o a season later, but he's a talent that's for sure

His assist in the last game ;)

He'd be a class act in the Premier League. Perfect foil for Tevez.

I can actually see this deal happening too. He's scored a few goals in recent games but the general perception in Spain is that he doesn't fit Guardiolas system of last year. Which was intentional on Peps behalf as he felt tht they needed a plan B, but he has definitely affected the balance of the side. I can see them going in for Villa or Torres in the summer, perhaps Robinho too as a replacement for Henry on the left. Both of which would play into our hands... together with Mancinis good relationship with Zlatan.

A City player in waiting...

I mentioned this in another thread a few months back that he would be a good purchase. But it got shot down, It's good to see more posters who can see the potential in him for our club. I think we will have to pay through the arse to sign him though.

I think his signing would ENTIRELY dependant on playing in the Champions League personally. Yes, he has a good relationship with Mancini, but at the same time he would not want to take a step down and a step out of the worlds greatest and most prestigious competition.

His ego simply would not allow this regardless of the financial offer made to both Barcelona and the player in question in my opinion.

What !?

He wants European glory and, sorry if I am a bit harsh, I can't see Man.City winning CL titles for the next 2/3 seasons.

however if the talk is too be believed and mourinho will replace mancini, surely he wont come then as he doesnt get on with mourinho?

i said we shud look at him on the premise that he is very found of mancini...
