ICC 2011 World Cup Fantasy league

Yet another great game of cricket, but who the fcuk does Nasser Hussain think he is?
How come you can beat West Indies, South Africa tie with Imdia and lose to Bangladesh and Ireland?

Arrogant twunt that hasnt seen just how much Irish and Bangladesh cricket has improved over the last 7 - 10 years.

But he is right though.

Who else have Ireland beaten so far ?

Not having a go, as you will see by a previous post I think they should be given one day status.

Not really, if as a "professional" reporter he has failed to see that Ireland have in recent years beaten Bangladesh, Pakistan and the WestIndies and pushed England very very close in Belfast and scared Australia in Dublin, not to mention that we should have beaten Bangladesh and could well have beaten the West Indies (but for a very dubious LBW decision), he would have realised that we are no longer the easy beats we were 15 - 20 years ago, and I find comments like that (of his not yours btw) VERY CONDESCENDING, & it is becauese of attitudes likethis that I very often go from wanting England to do very well (in various sports, not just cricket), to wanting them to go out.

I will have to just agree to disagree with you there then, Bangladesh were in Belfast for two ODI's last summer, one game each, we played then during the world cup and they won a very tight game, so to suggest that we are not fit to lick their boots means that either you are trying to get me to bite, or you have not been following the world game to any great degree (though with your points scored in the league I can see that this is not entirely true), there are some of the Associate nations that are improving at a great rate, and while it is very welcome to see that the ICC are putting pressure on the top nations to give more games to the leading associates, the proof will be in the pudding and it will be very interesting to see how many games ireland get in the near future.
