why you've read it for meIt's voluntary! Read the article.
because last week the whopping "patriots" were dead against them for every one - all Starmers fault of course - then they went full on over Chinese spies - that got no traction so now its football - so I assumed that they must have missed this roll out being Starmers fault so they could protest that too
Wow. "Whopping patriots". "Protest". "Chinese Spies".
It's just people with an opinion, posting it on a message board, no need to overdramatise things.
If the card for veterans was compulsory I would be just as much against it.
But it's not compulsory, it's voluntary and veterans are free to sign up for it, or not.
Can you not see the difference between the two?
No, because it hasn't been defined. Initially to counter people working illegally even though we already have a system of checking peoples right to work.do you know what the proposed ID system will be used for?
All govns are nice and would never exploit this. LoolNo, because it hasn't been defined. Initially to counter people working illegally even though we already have a system of checking peoples right to work.
Ive heard various other suggestions. Banking and finance. Government services. Even read this morning that you might need it to buy booze.
Once it's in, and once it's been made compulsory that's it. It will be used for whatever the government of the day wants to use it for.
