Higuain is unbelievable as a finisher. He is a true No. 9. Over 1/2 of his shots on goal are scored. And over 30% of his shots are on target. Compare that to any other top flight striker. Go on and take a gander at Rooney's ratios as an example. The guy is awesome.

And I'm not harshing on Carlos. He is just better playing deeper.

i dissagree with the carlos comment for me he played his best football in the 433 formation when ade wasn't playing and as good as ade is i think ultimatly he could cost us silverwear and id replace him with hiuain any day off the week

I don't know about higuain because he has been very poor in europe especially against physical teams where he plays like a scared little kid,also his touch and team mates awareness he very poor but he is a good finisher and has good pace but here in the premier league you need to be tough both physically and mentally.

I am not sure he is physically and i would see coming here to just pick up his wages a bit like ade who is just as terrified of challenges,higuain seems to want the same salary benzema 8.5m euros a year so he would only come here if we offer him the same which i don't think he is worth.

I would bring benzema or balotelli instead as they are both more robust and also better footballers than higuain who to me would always go missing in the big matches if he doesn't score because his all around game is lacking too much.

Don't know much about the guy, but I saw him against Zaragoza or Santander and he got him self into some really great positions but looked so awkward on the ball. He didn't look comfortable in position, and he doesn't have a lot of pace (which is always a good asset to have in the Premier League)

However, his stats appear to be good and 29 goals in La Liga is no mean feat. Who else could we REALISTICALLY sign? I would have Balotelli if Mancini could get the kid to knuckle down and work hard, but it doesn't look like he wants to do that any time soon so it's a no to him. Torres? Would love it, but not at £70mil considering his injuries.

this thread is quite funny , been mentioned a few times that he has no pace??? obviously you haven't seen him play he is quick and strong and would be an awesome buy for us.
also someone mentioned why would real sell him as they have the money??? yeah the same as the scum have the money.
realisticlly we have the money and we need to spend it as bobby sees fit, torres would be ace but at 70mill sorry but no fooking chance, so balotelli and higuain i feel is the way forward.
on another note if we were to get a creative midfielder makes the job of the strikers alot easier so ozil, gourcoff or hamisk would have to come in also unless stevie sorts his "head" out

I agree mate, he is quick and strong enough for this league and reminds me a bit of van nistelrooy in that he has a proper hunger for scoring and getting into dangerous positions that i think our strikers lack. I reckon he would form a top partnership with tevez as well.

Your also right about the midfielders and i think any of those mentioned would be the right sort of buys, maybe add gago and di maria to the list if we want to become half argie, mancini did have plenty of them at inter.
