I know!The kids weren’t impressed by the man who has won 2 champions leagues. Being the record breaker for the longest wait between 2 CL medals in the process.
Kids these days don’t know they’re born.
Bit of a dick move him being an hour late though, did he at least apologise?
Unfortunately he or Danny Jackson who hosted the event online didn’t apologise either.

But I got an email last night to say that my seasoncard number had won a competition to have a virtual meet and greet with a mystery men’s first team player…
I am a school teacher so thought it would be great to put it on the big screen in the classroom.
Kids were speculating who it could be, could it be Haaland, could it be Foden, maybe De Bruyne, maybe Grealish.
Was meant to start at 11:30.
The player didn’t come on until 12:30!
They had questions ready to ask, I told them not to get their hopes up as it could be any first team player…
It was… Scott Carson.
Safe to say, the kids weren’t to impressed.

Honestly, I had 2 classes of 30 waiting for the ‘mystery player’ to appear. About 10 out of 60 knew who he was.Did any of the kids have any idea who he was :-)
