I have it on good authrority that Mancini is not well liked by a number of playrs in the dressing room (and not just the one's not being picked) and its easy to understand why. I have also been told that some of the players will back up Tevez that he didn't refuse to play.

Even Adam Johnsons comment when asked whether the manager said congratulations after his goal against Blackburn spoke volumes about some of the feelings that exist in the dressing room.

There's one thing being tough with players and showing who is in charge and there is another thing humiliating them - take droppng Lescott for a big game after some of his best performances - and him being the only one. What sort of message does that send to lescott ?

You can't argue with the results and as long as that continues of course everyone will support Mancini so this is merely sharing information that I have been told and my own observations not a Mancini must go rant.

You can be tough and show whos in charge but the surely the skill of a good manager is recognising that different players need different things and some need an occasional arm round the shoulder and some positive encouragement. Of course you don't have to like your manager but you can respect him, I'm not sure how much the players respect him but just toe the line. This is just one aspect of his management that I personally don't warm to.

I think Mancini has made a rod for his own back on this one, such that if we do happen to be low in numbers in the striking department due to injuries or suspension or they show a drop in form and results dip I guarantee people will use this incident as a stick to beat him. Anyone who thinks we will be better off without a carlos tevez in our squad is delusional.

Its always the same old with City fans knee jerk impestuous reactions. A majority on this board would have had Balotelli seen off from the club if they'd had their way. After his last two games thank god that didn't happen. We need to stop acting like spoilt children and recognise that football has changed and that players don't love the club in the same way we do, its a job (a great one and no doubt one they enjoy) where players can pick and choose where they work and have disagreements with managers as happens in all walks of life, and these disputes have to be managed sympathetically and professionally in the same way as any workplace.

I still maintain that Mancini should have painted a different picture of the dispute and one which would have left the door open to a reconciliation.

What was AJ comment when asked by who?

If Mancini was to go i would be absolutely fuming. This is the man that has changed an average PL squad into arguably the best in the whole world. He has brought in truly world class players in the key positions to progress on and off the field. He has given Tevez every opportunity possible to make his life easier. Allowing him trips back to Argentina when possible, allowing him family trips to Tenerife in the season which other players would simply not be allowed to even bring the subject up, let alone go and do it. And all this has been thrown back in his face quite frankly.
Tevez is a world class player, no doubt about that, but he is also a cancer within that is spreading. We have all known someone with Cancer and the terrible outcome that follows. Unfortunately he has to go. Enough is enough and Mancini should have the final word with 110% backing of the Board. Should this situation have happened in the neighboring city of Salford at United, Fergie would have been backed by now and the culprit would have been long gone and the club would have moved on. In reality i think this has gone on for too long for the outcome to be as simple as i just suggested. The owner despite his billion in the bank, wont want to lose an asset which was worth £45m 2 months ago for nothing. I think that Mancini and Tevez will have to put their issues and problems to one side and this will be resolved once and for all come January, when he goes to Argentina and back to Corinthians once the TV deal money come in. One thing is a must though, we MUST keep Roberto Mancini at all costs. This is the man that won us our first trophy for 35 years and qualified us for the Champions League. Players are not suppost to be best friends with the Manager. They should respect him and do what he says, and that is final. tevez has failed on both of these accounts.

In Mancini I Trust

The owners will be fully aware of our support for the manager and I trust that they'll make the correct decision accordingly. They've not done too shabby a job so far have they?

He won't resign, what reason has he got to resign?

He's skint at the end of every month and the job centre won't give him any benefits?

End of the day though if the Italy job comes available and he gets offered it then expect him to go.

It's all if and when really, let's just enjoy it whilst we can eh?!?!

Tevez must go,no brainer. It's like Bellamy all over again, fans miss him because of his 2009/10 form.Forget that this year he has been nothing but trouble and not really been missed. He went through a barren spell goal scoring wise and injured for a lot as well.We won the cup semi as well without him.

Could you imagine Bellamy refusing to warm up? Sure, Bellers wouldn't have been starting every match last season but I feel he was missed during the 0-0's at home with Birmingham and someone else. I think he was sent out on loan and then released because he's not the kind of player Mancini wants. Dalglish is no mug yet snapped him up immediately.
