I can genuinely see both sides to the coin on the Hughes thing. I do think he needs more time but I can understand peoples concerns. I have many myself but I suppose I am just hoping that it's just down to the team gelling (or not as the case maybe).

For those who want him out though who would you put in instead? And let's be realistic. Mourinho won't come, neither will Hiddink.

And please don't mention Redknapp. They aren't pulling up any trees at the moment either.

Why not?

We are the richest club in the world but still think like we're fucking Bolton.

A great manager can achieve everything he wants at our club now. So could a good one, with a little luck.

Why we are sticking with (at best) unproven or (at worst) mediocre is a mystery to me.

Although a bigger mystery is why are so many fans happy to accept it.

I cant see why hiddink wouldnt come to us if he got beaten by Slovenia in their world cup qualifier tie.

I think Mourinho has been there done that with building up a club with a load of money to title winners. Not sure he would do it again. Hiddink maybe once his Russia contract ends perhaps.

Agreed. But if they don't he will be out of the equation until the end of the World Cup Finals at least.

From abroad: Hiddink, Mourinho or Rykaard. From the Premiership: a manager I've got a lot of time for Roy Hodgson.
