If the rot continues what happens ?

Haaland and Foden have been the biggest disappointments on the pitch for me this season. Haaland had absolutely no impact on last night’s game whatsoever. None. Even when crosses were going in he was a beat behind. The heat is all going to players who aren’t all that experienced - Rico - or are ageing out - Kyle - with both playing in areas most affected by injury. Haaland and Foden have no such excuse. They aren’t scoring enough, simples.

Spot on. Plenty of top clubs play poorly from time to time and are bailed out by their best players producing a bit of magic. Haaland had a decent start but fell off sharp and less said about Foden the better.

How about when we bought Ake for £40M from Bournemouth? I don’t remember any ringing endorsements of that deal, do you? Thankfully, he has done well when fit, but these players are all the same age profile, so they look like they all need replacing at the same time! Where’s the continuity? The changing of the guard?
I did, thought and said he was a brilliant signing and cheap at that price. He went under the radar at Bournemouth because of who he played for. THB is nowhere near his level and would be even further away had he stayed with us

Haaland looks like a frustrated figure, like me at five a side he's thinking I'm way too good to play with these donkeys

Pep is the greatest manager I’ve seen in my lifetime. I have full trust he will fix the issue.

However, if he’s gone full Mourinho and lost the magic he comes across as a man who will do the best for the club.

He’s given us 5 titles, the Champions League and a treble.
He’s earned the right to choose when he goes after what he has done for us.
Six titles mate.

Getting top 4 and winning the court case would be a good season. With the CWC prize money it’s probably the ideal season to drop out of the CL if the rot continues.

Personally I think we need four key players in January and the summer. The spine of this team moving into next season should be Dias, Gvardiol, Rodri, Bernardo, Foden and Haaland. I think we need a proper right back, creative midfielder, holding/box to box midfielder and a wide player. Without sounding spoilt I’m talking players with the ability to replace Gundogan, KDB and Walker long To be getting term.

Potentially also a new goalkeeper as well and let Ederson go to Saudi
Pretty much agree on what is needed but the Guys we bring in should be of the quality of immediate starters -we’ve pissed away the option of bringing players in as understudies etc in the last few Transfer Windows. No more Nunés type signings.

Well, to be fair, I think things have gone seriously downhill since they agreed the contract.

Nuh-uh! We lost 4 games on the bounce before the contract extension, we won one and drew one since and lost two since. That's going uphill, right.
