If the rot continues what happens ?

Not sure which villa and forrest players would get in our side and who they would replace. But by that logic their managers are alao better than Pep.
At this moment I think they are better managers.

Pep is in a hell of a rut and needs to pull himself out of it

I am bored watching it, it's utter gash, so predictable and so easy to defend against.

And was it not the same last season?

Yes we won the title but for so long last season we were very ordinary and pedestrian, the warning signs were there.
Spot on. We became a dull version of ourselves. Sick of seeing teams camped out and the players struggling to break them down.

We need new players and hopefully we regain the previous levels.

Pep won’t change his approach so we got to find players who can do it better than the current set. It’s a clear identify issue. Abandoning it is not an option for pep. He would rather lose games.

Don't forget mate, it allows some people to position themselves on a higher place on the "biggest blue" podium as well if they can admonish someone who shows dissent at the current situation.
There really should be annual award for them really. The lack of recognition for their efforts must be frustrating. At least a badge or summat ffs!

We keep losin
Yeah but all we have to do is start winning surely? Like we did at forest said a particular deluded blue earlier. Personally I'm confident that if we start winning games and playing well a lot we won't be losing games and playing badly.

Either way it's all good coz I'm not entitled like the guys who only started supporting us in 2022. And those players wanting to win can fuck off too, let other players win spoilt fuckers. And the owners too coming in here expecting to be top 4. Remember Swales?

I hope my badge arrives before Xmas.

And it's the biggest bestest blue badge ever.

* I understand I cannot get a badge every year.

Players throwing the manager under the bus how long till he walks??? Players not playing for the manager seems something has gone on those players would have crawled over broken glass for him. Now they won't even jog for him.
They were all running as fast as they possibly could all game for him on Saturday, they’re just slow as fuck.

Only players with any pace in the entire squad are Nunes, Foden and Savinho, none of which are particularly rapid, Doku over three yards but after that he’s slow as fuck and Haaland after five yards but before that he’s slow as fuck.

Not a single defender nor starting midfielder on Saturday had any pace.

Atletico are top of the league in Spain and apparently this is a major reason why, in a tough season like this with an expanded CL depth was always going to be crucial, shame the board and Pep didn't see it coming, I still think Pep should the bench more despite the lack of quality.

A thing of note that was obvious to me against the scum and Villa, 2nd half especially. Our collective press has all but disappeared, but more so the players are standing 3 to 4 yds off the opponent when they're in possession. It's giving them time and space to pass with relative ease.

Yes, but I'd put it slightly differently. Their tackles are out, their timing is slightly off — and they know and fear being completely skinned (they are being completely skinned anyway in 50-50 balls! That's where half the opposition goals are coming from).
Now these are internationals who've won just about everything that can be won. It's a confidence issue. It's in their heads. It's not just affecting that, but their entire way of playing. Nobody's taking shots from the edge of the box. You've got to do that at least sometimes against a low press. That's confidence. I'm not saying I know how to fix it, apart from getting other players in. But that's Pep's job, and he gets paid the big bucks for it…
I await his solution.
