If the worst happens who will you blame?

Our managers.
MH for drawing 7 on the trot, the home games against Fulham and Burnley were inexcusable.
RM for not having the desire to go and win games. 1 win is better than 3 draws. Too Italian for my liking.

Just wandering if god forbid we DON'T manage to get 4th (I think we will) where the blame will lie from the fans as to us not quite achieving 4th this season?

Will it be Hughes' fault for drawing the 7 games between October 5-November 28 & loosing 14 potential points? or only gaining 5 points from 12 from Burnley & Hull?

Will people point to Hughes' signings & say they were not good enough or to injury prone or some players not responding to Hughes & his back up staff?

OR

Could fans point to changing managers, mid-term thus creating instability & uncertainty.

Bobby Mancs training methods or his tactics in some games playing too defensively & not posing enough threat i.e. Vs Arsenal & United?.

Or were our aims to high this season anyway?

I wouldn't blame anyone! in fact I'd be quite happy, even if we finished 7th! it's a huge leap from where we've finished before and, since WW2, we've only finished in the top four of the top league 5 times (yes just five!!) - that's quite poor considering many blues think we're a really big club and considering all the "great" sides and players we've had in them 60odd years and we've only finished first once second twice and fourth twice (and that great side of Lee Summerbee Bell Young etc only finished 1st once and didn't even finish in the top half in any season before or after that!!)

So not getting 4th this season isno disgrace! we've got quite a few poor players in our squad, and quite a few average players in our squad, we are totally unbalanced compared to all of our 4th place rivals (even Everton!) when it comes to creative attacking and goalscoring midfielders!

I personally don't think we're good enough to finish 4th and i'm happy with wherever we finish!

Hughes,Dejong and adebayor!

De Jong? Who against Chelsea home and away, Arsenal home and away, Liverpool at home, United at home and numerous other games was either our best player or even the best player on the pitch! who all season has had no attacking midfielders playing in front of him so he can pass forward (as he likes to play short simple passes as it doesn't give the ball away), who has had Barry playing near him who finds it hard to find space to be passed to as he's very slow, who has had wingers playing miles too far forward and too wide at times making our midfield totally open and giving Nigel too much to do on his own!

I've watched him numerous times for Holland and had a bit of a buzz as he's the most effective player on the pitch with Sneider, van der Vaart, Robben, van Persie etc all playing in front of him allowing him to do his job effectively! with better tactics and better recruitment he'd be as effective for us!

You can't pin point certain games, but the 7 draws on the bounce were appauling, 4 of them against teams we should beat.

if we would of just won 2 of them 7 we wouldn't be worrying about anything now, a point in these last 3 games would of probably sealed it.
