If the worst happens who will you blame?

all the cats

And Hughes. That 40 million could buy Modric and Bale instead of Lescot and RSC

Hughes will shoulder all of the blame. Cruz, Toure, Lescott, Bridge and Barry were all the wrong signings imo (not so much Barry). Aswell as handicapping our defence with the sale of Dunne. Futhermore we went on to draw against hull at home after taking the lead, Burnley at home after taking the lead and Fulahm at home after taking the lead BY TWO GOALS! if it wasn't for these 3 games where his tactics were absolute GASH then we would be 5 points clear of spuds now with three games left. Thats what it comes down to in my opinion so thanks mark :)

Tottenham away surely a contender?

Spurs are a good team, not mid table mediocre or down down in April.
Yeah but surely you were dissapointed that we went to one of our rivals and didn't even look like a league one team? I mean if we went to old trafford and got trounced whilst our players looked like they couldn't give a shit i would still count it as a guttless loss. But i agree with you on Hull and Everton

if you want one factor that mght very well cost us, it's not any of the draws, it's not everton or hull or the derbies or anything like that.

it's the 3-0 at spurs.

if we'd scraped a 1-1 we'd be two points ahead of them right now, andour goal difference would 7 better than theirs, with more goals scored.

we would have been able to take draws against villa and spurs, win at west ham, and spurs would have to score at least 9 against bolton and burnley.

now we have three games to put that right. let's stop thinking about the past and thinking about how great it will be to beat villa, and how much of a chance we have to beat spurs as well.
