If we were to get all our targets...

If we get most of our targets I think Yaya will have to produce his A game much more consistently or he will find himself on the bench.

This can only be a good thing.

Then Pellegrini like all the managers in Europe will have be to extra vigilant regarding his man management skills to keep them all happy. Wasn't this one of the reasons Mancini was sacked because he lacked the necessary in that department?

I think Kolarov, Maicon, Lescott, Pants, are all certainty to leave, Nasri, Garcia, Tevez, Dzeko , Sinclair could all be moving on too.

If we get the number of attacking midfielders we are linked with, plus Cavani, then I can see Tevez and Dzeko not being replaced.

At last someone who thinks we will only have Aguero and Cavani as strikers at the club next year.

I do. Barca haven't had 4 main strikers and they've done ok. I think this is the direction that the club will be moving towards, and it certainly supports the notion about us playing more attractive football. It seems to me that it would be easier keeping a front 6 happy with a squad comprising of 6-7 midfielders and 2 strikers than 4-5 midfielders and 4 forwards. I also think the former of the two gives us more attacking options as the middle is of the park is more diverse.

you think we will keep Guidetti though as back up for Aguero and Cavani?

Guidetti will be kept in my opinion, home grown, ticks all the boxes and gets him nearer to a starting berth in main team same as Razak. We have been told in no uncertain terms that Pellegrini is being brought in to take us to the next level. The academy is only a year or so away from being opened, Khaldoon expects half our team to be homegrown. It may also be in the defence we don't sign any replacement for Kolo or if we sell Kolorov but promote Rekik instead. Those decisions will be down to the new manager but if they are good enough age won't matter.

Yeah, I think a lot of players will have to leave. Garcia will probably leave, but he could be kept because of he is fairly versatile; CB and CDM. Nasri might have to go, otherwise the club will have too many attacking mids.

Imagine this - Starting XI:
----------------Hart-----------------
--Zaba---Kompany--Nastasic---Clichy
--------------Fernandinho------------
----Yaya------------------Thiago-----
-------Silva-----Aguero--------Isco/Bernard

Bench: Pantilimon?, Richards (RB/CB), Garcia (CDM/CB), Bernard (AM/Winger), Milner (CM/RM/RB), Guidetti (ST)

Yeah, this way Guidetti is slowly integrated and definitely gets some game time but won't be complaining about not playing 100% of the time. Only having two main strikers (obviously complimented with a wider range of attacking midfield talent) allows us to be more flexible in our attacking play.
