i'm not one for making bold statements and letting excitement get the better of me,always level headed...so here goes...we will win the Premier League,FA Cup,Carling Cup,Europa League,Champions League,World Club Championship,European Championships,World Cup,Confederations Cup,Serie A,La Liga and the Bundesliga this season with this squad! (oh and every reserve and youth competition too!) especially if we sign Terry and Lescott
I'd like to see us get both Terry and Lescott,and top 4 would be a real possibilty. I still don't think Terry will leave Chelsea (although I live in hope of course) I expect us to sign Lescott now regardless of Evertons insistance he won't be sold, and who will join him as a new centre back recruit I think can be narrowed down to Toure,Alves and perhaps Lusaio,and I suspect MH would prefer a Premier league experienced player, so possibly another raid on Arsenal

i think we need defo another centre back look at the centre backs you can trust who are here, personally only Vinny and Nedum come under this. Dunne done great for the club but should go. We cannot afford to be playing Ben-Haim (saw today how appauling he is). And Lescott would be useful as he is just as comfortable at left back as he is centre back would be a great addition.

Lescott wouldn't come to be a left back, not with the world cup next year. He's a centre back who can cover at left back.
this.....Lescott has always said his preferred position is centre back. Bridge is a specialist left-back,Lescott isn't.the only time that line up would be on the pitch is if Bridge is suspended or injured,or being rested!
