If we're going to lose our title ...

Even if some/most of us have given up on the title, maybe, the players could show some fight and guile til the end of the season. Would go some way, to pay back the fans who travelled to the debacle that was Southampton.

you can say that again, they were hurt just as much as us winning as they are the way its portrayed as the best thing in sport. ever.
 
All the shit we've had to bear over the past 20 years... finishing second in the premier league is hardly a disaster. In a way them winning the league in March almost makes it less special. They can;t really hurt us anymore this season unless they spank us at OT
