You don't often get 10 scousers walking about Manchester!

Just check the number of burglaries in Manchester!

What I can't understand is how these 'Ultras' get tickets to a foreign football match or don't have their passports confiscated.

We saw this on our way to the ground in the taxi - around 7 o clock I think. Men against boys is the only way to describe it

I thought it was decent between the fans. Our fans and their fans near the scoreboard were applauding each other at full-time, and didn't see anything else.

This, got a lot of respect for them after that gesture, dont see that often at a match

on route to the match i parked near the mitchell arms. i saw a group of about 20 rough looking napoli fans , a group of ten youn scousers ran at them and were chased off. some city fans joined in on the scousers side! the napoli fans walked towards the ground,turned into the estate on the right.

at the ground the, "ultras" were in a police cordon and as they approached the ground there was a bit of two ing and fro ing! these were city lads trying to get to the napoli fans!

thats my experience of today, god knows what happened elsewhere! Be very carefull blues this wasn t a friendly encounter amongst fans!

Personal opinion of mine is that I thought the Napoli fans were great and the atmosphere they created was what we want at our stadium.

Didn't see any trouble but was told about a group of there fans being escorted by the police from town.

Rather we had the atmosphere of last night to having that of Wigan fans who only live a train journey away. Fair credit to Napoli and I hope there isn't any trouble in Naples.

I think the Napoli fans showed us respect last night. There was no "City, City, Vaffanculo" (Go fuck yourselves) like I heard from Juve fans last year.

I was waiting to go into the South stand about 7.35-7.40 pm when there was a lot of running and scuffling and police horses going in but i couldn't see clearly what was happening.

I think every set of fans has it's nutters up for a scrap so you will get small incidents like this now and then,though i have noticed it is on the increase,but still not on the scale of the seventies/eighties.

I would be careful if going to Italy though.I would imagine mobbed up in their favour more attacks could happen and i wouldn't expect any help from the police who seem to wade into away fans with batons at every available opportunity.
