If You Can't Beat Em Join Em

No,no,no,no,no,no,no !! Absolutely against this.Do we really want to be on par with players like Ashley Young,Suarez and the likes.Even our own Jovetic was given grief on this Forum for his ludicrous "dive" against Chelsea.Think back to Real at home last year and the constant diving by Trannyboy and how much shit we gave him as supporters.

Just poor refereeing last night, awarded 23 fouls against us and only 6 against Barca when both teams committed a similar number of fouls, let them away with 2 blatant fouls on Dzeko and Silva in the build up to their first goal too. But just because the refs a ****, doesn't mean our players should be cunts too. So a big NO from me, sorry OP.

I thought the way we tried to get around this no touching rule is by hoofing to aguero a lot in the first half?
Which didn't really work since he had two guys marking him all the time.
Is there more effective way?

Did anyone see Fabragas gesture to the ref that he'd been elbowed in the face. On the replay he had lost a clean heading contest. Totally unprofessional and immoral behavior. I'd never advocate diving and rolling around but the refs in both legs were influenced not only by Barca players constantly hitting the deck but more importantly whenever City committed a foul the entire Barca team surrounded the ref demanding a return to corporal punishment - hence our yellow card count was not only high but cards were issued early in the game. Zabaletta was booked for a challenge on Iniesta last night but Iniesta's challenge on Zabaletta was far worse given the cynical nature but the latter did not receive a card because the City players simply didn't demand it.

Yet in the end it was Zaba who got booked (and sent off) for questioning a decision when at the very least the referee should have decided he at least had the right to question it, what a fucking clown of a ref.

And that one time city demands a pen, zabaleta gets a red card. Fun :)

Did we not demand anything because we know we won't get any?

I thought the ref was perfect, just like his employer EUFA,both are incompetent, and biased in favour of the "Elite"club. As I say the ref was perfect, missed a Barca penalty,a city penalty,a barca goal not given for off-side and the city goal was off-side.Four major decisions and all wrong.Just the type of official Platini admires.UEFA don't ya just love 'em.

City goal wasn't offside, it was clearly on.

No point, our league is one of the best in the world for eliminating gamesmanship. Spanish and Italian clubs are victims of their own shit leagues that never grew up and dealt with this issue seriously. This of course impacts on other nations where this is rare, particularly Germany and England.

UEFA should just grow a pair of bollocks and tell the refs to stop being soft bastards and to SEVERELY punish simulation of any kind on either side. Of course that would never happen owing to the fact that Platini himself is a product of Continental Football so is a diver at heart, he'd hate to punish his own.

You make a good argument until you get all personal on Platini. You clearly never saw him play.
