Dear Mr. Reid, you played in sides knowing the importance of having an aerial presence in central defence so why did you sell Colin Hendry and then waste time trying several inferior players in that position? As Manager would it have not been better to overrule Sam Ellis on this one? Hendry and Curle could have been very tasty
(Could also ask Billy McNeill if he really thought a small back 4 would ever really work against Chelsea's Dixon and Speedie in the Milk Cup 1984/85 but different times and in the great scheme of things and all that.....)
Dear Mr. Keegan, why after a fantastic promotion and consolidation year why bring in all those one-paced journeymen rather than a couple of exciting and different players to what we had and why did you want Fowler that much? Jermaine Defoe probably wouldn't have come but a bid for him instead would have had me thinking we're trying to do the right thing
