Ozil and Mata are obviously great players and so is Suarez but I wouldn't swap them for Silva and Suarez would want to start up front every game. I'd have Negredo and Aguero before him any day. I think someone like Benteke or Lukaku could fill the role of Dzeko where he has to be content with a bit part from now on.

Wilshire is vastly overrated - There'd be no fuss about him if he wasn't English. Fernandinho will get better as the season progresses. Remember Spanish Dave's first year with us...?

Fucking Baines? There are some excellent young players in the Prem, and there's a reason why at nearly 30 years old he's played at no higher than a mid table team.

Yaya Toure when he's strolling around, not working hard enough and being ineffective; for Yaya Toure when he's at his best. I think that's the biggest difference in our team between us playing well and not, more so than even when Kompany isn't there.

Absolutely astonished at this massive love in for Leighton Baines.
He ball watches, he turns is back, he can't tackle and he gives away possesion all the time and it very nearly cost England dearly the other night.
Thinking short term, I would take Koscieny from Arsenal for the Cup Final/Title winner Joleon;
and thinking long term I would take Luke Shaw or Keiron Gibbs for either of our two excellent left backs. Like most; I prefer Clichy but Kolorov isn't as far behind him as most posters think and is a better player right now than the two potential replacements mentioned.
