If you had one question for Hughes

Did you not realise before you came that the so called BEST fans in the world have no idea how to support there team?

or

Do you not realise that in todays society we NEED everything NOW or its unsatisfactory? How dare you ever be given time to do things - Ferguson, Moyes and O'Neill won EVERY trophey in their first season!

Liam, with the greatest respect, they weren't on the brink of a relegation battle in their first season either. Look at our away record this season and the upcoming away games and realise that we're going to be in the thick of it.

We're not in a relegation battle, we're chasing a European place.

With the greatest respect to you, whatever your real name is, our performances for the second half of last season we're absolutely dire - I've still got the stubs for Birmingham, Reading, Derby etc. away.

I said it in the summer, and i'll say it again now. The two worst things to happen to City in the past 5 or so years are; Getting into the Uefa Cup in 2003 - built a 'squad' full of shit, and Svens first 15 games.

Yes you did just read that.

Svens start was ALWAYS going to put immense pressure on whoever came in, even Jose.

The expectation levels of some on here are stupid. I'm not entirely happy with Hughes, didn't want him really in the first place. But we will be starting from scratch again if we sack him. Too many people idolise Robinho and Elano - when will they realise that there only here for the paycheck - they don't care about City, and have no idea what the club means to our supporters.

HUGHES, i used to think you had a chance here, but now i think you gave it a go and were not the Messiah we all hoped you would be. Just touching the fixture list and magically conjuring up 3 points.
The away performances have been terrible. When will we win away?

ANSWER: well obviously this situation is a work in progress and the project is a 3 year plan to a trophy not an over night 1 ... GIVE ME A BREAK.. i WILL DROP THE BRAZILIANS AWAY as i know know they cant be trusted and BOJ an PETR our back soon so we will be competeing in the areas we haven't been better toward the end of the season.

My response, GOOD LUCK HUGHES WE R ALL BEHIND THE TEAM AND CLUB!

that is hitting nail on head and because of this many fans think we were ready for the top 4!

I'm going to shock you and agree with your point about Svens start, but in my books Hughes is rightfully under pressure. 1 win in all away games so far and unfortunately facing some really hard tests in the not too distant future? He's lost more than 50% of his games, he's only drawn four times and recent form has been his saving grace and papers over the cracks really.

I just hope that Hughes is simply being 'used' to keep us up and then we'll move onto a bigger and better manager who will get this ship sailing more smoothly. First interview question 'Can you win us a few away games now and again?'

Maybe sacking MH does take us back to square one, but there's no point persisting with him if he hasn't got the qualities we need for him to drive us forward.

Highlighted this part for your attention Lee, then come back with a comment on how many teams, keeping in mind recent form, we can beat.
