Then you would choose the river. It's subjective, a lot of people like living in cities but some prefer countryside, I like both, but if I worked in the city I would prefer to live in the city.

My guess is though that whoever is buying these places has 2 or 3 other places. Mick Jagger, McCarney & Bowie all had/have very nice NY apartments in high rise buildings, but they have/had other homes.
