Unfortunatly our expectation have already risen and will do so more over the coming years, its to be expected with the amount of investment currently being pumped into our beloved club.

I used to bate the rags for their high expectations and how they couldn't handle a defeat and their lack of humility!!!

This is already creeping in to City, I dont like it one bit but some wopuld say its the price you pay for success!!!

I wasn't happy with the way we played on Tuesday (or at Portsmouth before that), thats just the way it is. The wins have made it worthwhile but I'm not going to pretend we're playing well when we clearly aren't.

I suspect moomba though, that you were saying give Mark Hughes time when he had been at the club 18 months and it looked like they were about to sack him!
Mancini has not been here 2 months yet but results have improved, we still have the same number of draws but have now won 12 games, with only 2 losses, 15 points from 7 games is a good enough return for me, we're not good enough to win ALL our games!

FWIW I don't think I've ever suggested that Mancini isn't doing a good job, or that I expected us to win every game.

But that's the thing about assumptions, you don't always get them right.

They are - there was thread on here earlier. Football's a passionate game and people express their emotions strongly.

Me - I get wound up by people who cant spell "you're", swear in thread titles and use text speak.

completely agree....also the boys that sit in 117 chanting "fcuking helllllll" for 90 minutes really annoy me....wish they'd grow a braincell....one between them would suffice!

As i was watching the game on tues, I just happened tho mention 2 my mate what a "piss poor game it was". As i said this a prick sat in front of me said " We're winning you daft cow, fuck off back to trafford park"

1. We were winning by a penalty.
2. By trafford park i assume he meant the swamp.

When i asked if he was referring to the swamp he looked at me with a bemused look on his face. I hope that with us expanding our fan base that this is not the kind of TWAT we are going to attract, I dont just love CITY i love good football..........

Grow up for goodness sake. The purpose of the Bluemoom Forum is to enable City supporters to exchange views and hold constructive dialogue on all aspects of the football club. There is bound to be as much criticism as praise, so be prepared for it. Hopefully some folk at the club may react favourably to what is being said on here. For example, our constant reference to Hughes sitting on his ass for 90 minutes led to him suddenly prowling the touchline like a caged tiger. It may not have saved his job but it certainly led to improved performances.
