OK thats it i'm off to the dark side you fukin first class idiot

Everything thats wrong with BM right there.

The continual falling back on the excuse of "its a football forum, its about opinions" is bullshit. Similarly, disagreeing with someone and instead of saying why, insulting/abusing them doesnt really make this whole forum lark work either.

All these threads popping up about attitude/conduct etc are completely relevent; theres a difference between a differnece of opinion and simply slagging off.

I know myself and Didsbury Dave have mentioned it before, i'm sure theres many others, but saying you disagree with Mancini's formation because of "X, Y & Z" is one thing. Saying; "we should beat Hull, we didn't; Mancini out, clueless clown" isn't an opinion. Its a statement. Its fuckwittery.

Come back from the game and look in the matchday thread. Look at the threads after a loss, look at the opinions on our players; one week we're going to win the league the next were lucky to be in this division... thats not passion or heat of the moment its melodramatic idiocy.

Its great that we've got so many posters on here and so many opinions... but the way people think thier own opinion holds more value, or the way civilised debate has made way for one liners and abuse its all a bit of a pisstake really.

If people didnt have differing opinions nobody would bother coming on here! I dont agree with everyone and I am pretty sure everyone doesnt agree with me but its the debate that comes from this that keeps me coming back on here for more! If you want a situation where everyone must think the same and do as they are told then I suggest you leave our democratic country and go and join the Taliban!

mate, around me this year people seem to be waiting to jump on a player straight away even swp has taken shit this year and whist I acknowledge he hasn't had a great season it's swp ffs.

I bet they are.
They are - there was thread on here earlier. Football's a passionate game and people express their emotions strongly.

Me - I get wound up by people who cant spell "you're", swear in thread titles and use text speak.

You're a teacher, aren't you?

I wasn't happy with the way we played on Tuesday (or at Portsmouth before that), thats just the way it is. The wins have made it worthwhile but I'm not going to pretend we're playing well when we clearly aren't.

I think I'll decline your polite invitation to fuck off and support the rags though, thanks anyway.

Haha I'm really talkin bout what we do at the games mate but Also wanted to comment on the negativity on here when I looked for an interesting topic to read. Sorry if I've offended anyone my point was win lose or draw lets all get behind the team. Why were peoe not even makin an effort when the lights went out?? Come on blues we r the best lets remember that on sat

If the OP is about fans at the game, then I'm with him 100%. We need to be, and seldom are, the 'twelfth man' for the team especially when they're struggling. My personal hobby horse is the way everyone got on Robinho's case in the home game against Stoke, but the same thing applies across the board really. No player ever produces his best when he feels the crowd isn't with him.
If the OP is about fans on here, well I disagree entirely. People are entitled to let off steam when the team isn't performing. It doesn't affect the performance of the team and allows people to vent their frustration without any cats or dogs getting booted up the arse. Ok, it must be quite tiresome for the people who moderate the site to be reading the same shite after every win/loss, but just think of it as performing a public service lads. The drama normally dies down after an hour or so, and the more extreme threads tend to disappear pretty quickly, with more reasonable debates winning the day.

This all ties in to the "Away support" thread I think.

As we see success possibly getting closer I think people ae getting nervous and edgy. When we were crap it didn't matter if we lost a game (as long as we were safe from relegation) as we had no expectation. But now we can sniff top 4 and every point is crucial. But we've still not made made the transition to an efficient and reliable top 4 team so we still don't really expect to win. Once we get used to winning then things will get better.

But it's not just the team going through a transitional phase at the moment, we are as well.

All I really care about is supportin them like we can at the games and agree a forum is for opinions but come on mate the topics to choose from today are hardly positive are they?? Were on our way to Milan or Turin or somewhere great next year we should be jumpin round our houses with bananas ffs :) MCFC OK

A lot of people seem to have a very distorted view of what I used to be like

A lot of folk seem to think that when we were relegated it was all happy clapping and jovial pats on the back because we loved the club that much we didn't care....

It fucking wasn't......ive seen some really really really angry people at Maine rd watching us getting fucking rammed sideways week in, week out.....

Some people seem to have a some very rosy spectacles on when they remember 'the good old days'
