Op did you go to spurs hull or everton away ? If you did and you left those grounds happy you sir can fuck off too.

I go to every game, at spurs the team were shocking and our fans were poor (not helped by the fuckin stewards) hull again team poor but never had any encouragement from us (tho I lost my voice trying, and everton I was arrested at half time for trying to drown united songs out with city ones (u might of seen me I'm the one they jumped all over and caused a stand off with the city fans).

I want people to get behind the team and create the party atmosphere that we have travelled with in the past. What's wrong with that?

Party atmospheres are created when having fun,like Scunny ,Wolves, Bburn Chelsea and Arse at home all them games we played attacking football not this turgid shite we are being served up now

If what i'm watching in front of me is shit then i'll fucking say so regardless of the position we are in the league and any games in hand we may have.

If you think that the performances against Everton away, Portsmouth at home, Hull away, Bolton at home were good enough then you must permanently have the blue tinted specs on. I'm not disagreeing that the results against bolton and portsmouth are everything but if i'm paying my money to go and watch it then too right i'm going to voice my opinion.

I'm fed up of these shit threads coming up moaning about people who moan.

Do you think that improves the performance - or would clapping and cheering them on be a better way?

So there's two more reasons why the atmosphere was shite at everton, you was trying to stop us singing and our main song starter got thrown out.

As much as I hate the bastards it's gettin a bit tedious singin bout them, but tbf as always in the first half anyway at everton our fans were great. And by the way many innocent blues were arrested and held for nothing I have never been treated by human beings like I was that day. Never going back

They are - there was thread on here earlier. Football's a passionate game and people express their emotions strongly.

Me - I get wound up by people who cant spell "you're", swear in thread titles and use text speak.

We all like a grumble and a moan, it's what makes (most of) us blokes and football fans. The thing that age and, hopefully, a bit of wisdom, gives us is the knowledge that we will, quite possibly, have a different opinion tomorrow. Wisdom should tell us to not insist that our opinions are fact but are just merely transient, fickle thoughts. We shouldn't, therefore, so vehemently berate those who think differently and, as importantly, we shouldn't insist that ours is the loudest and the definitive voice. Chill.

The continual falling back on the excuse of "its a football forum, its about opinions" is bullshit. Similarly, disagreeing with someone and instead of saying why, insulting/abusing them doesnt really make this whole forum lark work either.

All these threads popping up about attitude/conduct etc are completely relevent; theres a difference between a differnece of opinion and simply slagging off.

I know myself and Didsbury Dave have mentioned it before, i'm sure theres many others, but saying you disagree with Mancini's formation because of "X, Y & Z" is one thing. Saying; "we should beat Hull, we didn't; Mancini out, clueless clown" isn't an opinion. Its a statement. Its fuckwittery.

Come back from the game and look in the matchday thread. Look at the threads after a loss, look at the opinions on our players; one week we're going to win the league the next were lucky to be in this division... thats not passion or heat of the moment its melodramatic idiocy.

Its great that we've got so many posters on here and so many opinions... but the way people think thier own opinion holds more value, or the way civilised debate has made way for one liners and abuse its all a bit of a pisstake really.

I thought the atmosphere against the reds at home in semi was like the old days,
when the old team were called out to the pitch I had a tear in my eye, the noise
when Colin Bell come on, my two sons just looked at me and thought soft twat.
You try and tell these youngsters how passionate we are as fans and how we are
the best in the world.
The Arsenal game was almost as good, when Ade run to the arsenal fans I thought
oh no thats wrong yet a still clapped and shouted all the way through the run.
We are all entitled to our opinions on this forum and we do expect better on the
pitch at times but this is Manchester City our City and we will love them forever.
