Thank the Lord
A sensible post in this thread.
How quickly some have forgotten that when he has started league games he's looked a little out of his depth
Bringing him on when defenders are tiring and we are attacking sees the best of him. Thought his cameo on Saturday was very good indeed.
When do we submit the new CL squad - surely he'll be included?
Whilst I don't advocate him starting every week I would totally disagree that he has ever looked out of his depth. For me he has always looked confident, positive and threatening. I do think he should have had more game time so far and I do think there are games when we could play 2 up front but WHU was not one of them.
I have the feeling if and when Pep comes he could mold Kelechi into the type of player that Douglas Costa is at Bayern now
I think a 4-4-1-1 would get the best out of both players IMO.Definitely. We should be going 4-4-2 with Aguero/Iheanacho for the rest of the season. We're at our best with those two playing.
Norwich at home in the premiership game he definitely looked out of his depth. Giving him little cameos for the time being is defo the right way to go. Eventually he will merit a regular start but not right at this minute.
Perhaps on Wednesday, but if he starts Wednesday, he absolutely shouldn't on Saturday.. That will be poor management of his minutes.I was very disappointed with Pellegrini for not starting him at Everton in the cup. He had been involved in the comp from the off and he should have started. Can't see how it would have made us any worse that we were that night. Hopefully he gets a start Wednesday and Saturday although I can't see it with Pellegrini picking the side.

There is no reason to overexpose him now. If we were down our Senior strikers, sure. But otherwise, groom progressively. While I believe he can handle it, there is no reason to force the issue.
