Iheanacho or Nasri for CL squad?

That he slows down our attacking play significantly allowing the opposition to all comfortable get back in place before he does his usual sideways pass. Or his temper getting him sent off or picking up stupid yellows. He doesn't play well under Pellers at all, he doesn't create as much as Sterling or KDB, he doesn't Defend as much as either, he isn't as fast as either... he can pass backwards though, if thats what we're really missing.
Weird how some people see the game. I'm not saying you're wrong, but personally I think he's a great option to have, especially away from home where we need to exercise a bit more control over the game. As much as KDB creates, he also loses the ball a lot. Same goes for Sterling.

Nasri allows the full team to gain territorial advantage by slowing the play down. He allows our full backs to advance and he operates in the half spaces in the opponents half, something that only Silva really does effectively.

Away from home especially, we need more reliable control over the game. Sterling and De Bruyne, when not creating, can be pretty careless in possession and we end up creating a lot of transitions where Yaya is borderline useless and the defenders don't know who to track or where to run.

Also, since we don't really pack the penalty area at any point, I don't see the obsession with fast paced direct football.

All about goals now. Nacho for me. Nasri has been out so long it could take him a while to get up to the right level.

I don't really see the debate. Nacho man has earned his place. There are no guarantees when Samir will be fit and we are short/have injury prone strikers. Think Pellers is simply massaging Nasri's ego.

Has to be nacho, being a striker, and he is playing well at the moment, unlike a lot of players. Is there anyone else we could drop? (and I don't mean Silva or Yaya, before I start the mother of all rows again)

Add me to the group hoping to see kelechis inclusion.Nasri is probably the most overrated member if our squad,he's unreliabl and his negative football frustrates me and his petulance annoys me.He will be sold in the summer anyway...... so why not look to the future by giving the opportunity to a player with huge potential, the element of surprise and a genuine desire?

Has to be Nacho.

As others have alluded to, Nasri will be back at the earliest March and if he is, it will take him time to get back to match fitness.

Kelechi for me. An eye for goal, decent signs of an understanding with Sergio, and the youthful naivety to be able to play up on his own if need be, and not get overawed.
