Iliman Ndiaye

I like him, but he's Everton's best player so they would demand a lot of money for him. Not sure we'd be willing to pay what it takes when we have bigger priorities for the squad.

If Ndiaye says he wants to go (I think he's suggested moving in the past, could be wrong...) and they want Grealish, I'd assume there'd be some sort of negotiation to be had with both fees.

This was my thinking. I think we'd be able to get him at a better price than they'd sell him to anyone else simply because we also have a player they want to sign.

Factor in the Savinho money and we'll actually have money left over after buying Ndiaye.

Everton aren't pushovers with this kind of thing, they've kept a lot of their better players over the years, whilst being crap, unless people pay big (Like Richarlison)

The grealish element is something, but the last report had them asking for another loan so, I don't know lol.

My guess is it doesnt happen.

We can do a lot better however if Everton don't take the piss and he doesn't ask for silly wages then fair enough bring him in.

Potentially mate. If we sell Savinho for £60m then I reckon Everton are well within their rights to suggest Ndiaye is a better player, albeit older, and demand a similar/higher fee as a result.

Regardless, I doubt it'd be £15-20m difference to reflect what we'd get for Grealish.

True, although we won't have that much leverage as Ndiaye is contracted until 2029 whereas Grealish is entering the final year of his deal.

Yeah, suppose so. Though they do have an option to buy don't they and have already put out feelers about not being happy about the price (cheeky bastards given how well he was playing!) so I presume there's a deal to be done.

Whether his long-term injury has put that to bed, though. Not sure.

Thats not good reasoning at all, you think we can do a lot better but he’ll do if he’s cheap enough, better not bothering if thats the case. I think he’d be okay as a squad option myself, what he costs if the club want him, not my concern.

One of the best dribblers I’ve seen in recent years in the league, but not great in front of goal. Obviously Doku/Semenyo will be the main choices still anyway.

Surely his national team is an issue for us though? We would have Semenyo, Marmoush and Ndiaye all at AFCON at the same time.

Everton fan here. He's a joy to watch on the ball. His dribbling and close control are top and considering he's not a big guy his strength on the ball is excellent. He does seem to lack that end product/killer instinct infront of goal though.

Watching him he is quite Grealish esq in his play but with a bit more flair. The slight difference is he's not as clever at winning freekicks and doesn't hold up the ball as much as he prefers to run at players instead. Equally comfortable with both feet and either wide right or left.

He's one of our best players with 3 years left on his deal so it seems we will want around £70m for him. He's worth that to us, not sure he's worth that to you. Put him in your team with much better players, I think he will flourish and there is no adapting needed for him.
