He’s a tidy player who is good to have in the squad but yeah he’s not a patch on Silva, would much rather see what Bernardo can bring in the central role when David is unavailable.
 
i wouls start him instead of sergio upfront as a false 9, he can bring others into scoring positions with his quick 1 2s
he is not a good player in helping with keeping possession
 
Gundogan's issue for me today was his choice of pass and lack of movement to help his team mates. I think he is good enough, not today though. Tenacity was lacking to.

Example play: Gundogan in centre with ball passes forward to Aguero? with back to goal, 10 yard pass, Liverpool player coming at pace from behind. No call or movement shouting for it right back so he could start again resulting in the ball lost and him not breaking a bollock to get it back. He needs to know the player getting dispossessed is flat footed and he needs to be on it, he wasn't. The pass should never have been played in the first place.

That individual play i would be bold enough to say "Silva would have sorted that" with total conviction.
 
Wouldn't like I see his passing stats today. Seemed every time we lost possession it was him and a lot of the time it was relatively short passes.
 
Thought he was decent. Preferred the ball going to him when we are pressured than anyone else.

I think folks are just looking for someone to pick on. There wee many worse. But in general, they just had more energy than we did.
