I do want to disagree with you here in a way because I think Ilkay is a good fit for the locker room and is an almost perfect squad player. Yeah?

I'm really not convinced,he is our go to player when injuries/suspensions occur and i just think the drop off in quality is too great for a club competing at the highest level.In regards the dressing room,is he even a character? i obviously dont have access but from what i see on social media etc...he appears somewhat of a shy/loner type.

Just to add,i think he's done wonderful achieving even this level given his injuries.

Probably get pelters for this but I thought Wilshere, a player he is sometimes compared to, looked the much better of the two today. Hope he improves as he seems a great guy but it’s not quite happened for him. May have an opportunity to prove the doubters wrong with Ferny probably out for a month or so.

Thought he was good first half, did some good interplay and won some good free kicks. He is an odious little twat but I would like to see what Pep could do with him, out of contract in the summer too...
