Ah, his son.

He completed passes well for a start off.
On the contrary, has nothing to do with my prior thoughts on the matter. We won 3-0. We were comfortable. His touches especially after the first 15 minutes were very good.
So to compare that to a Dihno stinker (of which there have been some especially under Pelle) speaks more to your agenda than mine.
For fuck sake our defense barely had any trouble. No one is claiming he was the dog's bullock, but to argue he was terrible is assinine!
Great point Dax. Your post really got me thinking because we typically see eye to eye but not this position at all + role at all.
The part in bold is correct but leaves out what I think is most important....his ability to kill attack’s out instantly. The only thing that we need to worry about with this squad is killing off some bullshit counter or quick attack off a free kick. Seriously. That’s crazy how good we are. Gundogan is terrible at this and Fernandinho is the best in the world at it.
Every time Arsenal had a decent attack, a Gundogan mistake or piece of poor play was involved. Without the ball in that position he was really poor.
I like him, he's had some great games for us recently and his performances are trending upwards, but he was not a good pivot last night.
I thought he had a great game a few weeks back & looked like his old self (can't remember against who) but have actually been quite worried by some of his other showings & the two vs Arsenal have been unacceptable imo. Had they been in defeats rather than comfortable wins, the shit would be hitting the fan now.
I liked him a lot at Dortmund & was looking forward to us signing him & he has at times looked like that player for City, but not enough imo & he's on thin ice unless he goes up a level quickly.
He seems better in europe to me, but perhaps it's just an impression. I know Pep really wanted him & had big plans involving him it's understandable why, but unless we get that Dortmund level from him regularly, I think Pep will do his smiling assassin thing on him.
He may get another chance to make an impression on Sunday. Hopefully he can turn it round.
We are being linked with quite a few players who would be direct rivals for his job.
I think he is one of the players we should be looking to move on in the Summer. In the current transfer market and while he is kidding a lot of people on, that he is an important part of a successful side, he would likely fetch a pretty penny. If we could get £50m for him, I would snap their hand off. His fee would likely allow us to replace him, with a far superior player for not much money.

Seconded. But personally can't see it happening, Pep is very careful about team atmosphere and will be reluctant to chop and change much. And Gundo is one of 'nice guys' that Guardiola likes.I'm down for this.
