1)So when he starts a game his instructions will be to slow things down. The fact is when we play at walking pace we never seem to penetrate so unlikely he is being asked to following instructions.
2)He is slower than our other midfielders and does not track back like the other players do , occasionally yes, but not on a regular basis. An example was yesterday when he lost the ball he did not chase back, instead lifted his head in frustration and left the job to someone else.
3)Hmm , not thought of that one because amazingly other players are reluctant to pass it to someone who is not looking and tend to choose to pass the ball to someone else who is looking. By the time he has “ assessed” the situation the ball is 2 moves on.

1. Apologies, I was under the impression you were referring to yesterday's game

2. I'll take your word for it.

3. It's funny, for someone that doesn't want the ball he regularly finishes with more touches and passes than most others in the team

Our two most maligned players within this squad over the past few years are Gundo and Otamendi. Both will, arguably, be our two most important players the next few weeks with the injuries to Laporte (Stones too) and Dinho. Both have actually performed very well and have been good servants to the club. Hopefully fans get behind both because they will play a huge role in the remainder of this season.
