I let the actual dictstd that.When we we're in the ascendancy just before they scored. It was Ilkay and Walker driving us forward. Not Dave. Not Dihno.

Dihno spent a significant time not showing for the ball. Someone was complaining he was always passing back. Lol. At least he shoesh for the ball to be able to pass it back.

Others just did nothing for most of the game.

Dinho first and foremost is a destroyer , he wins the ball and gives it to our creative players , you are correct in the fact he normally he uses the ball far better than he did against Spuds , but i will give him some leeway as he is just getting over an injury , he will be back to his best at Palace

He was the best of the midfield 3 but the amount of times he goes back can be frustrating, even laporte shouted at him at one point in the second half.

Fair enough. And I understood that. In reality I was simply using the comparison to showcase FI's native bias.

I agree,although i guess given his injury record....in his mind,its very much a case of self preservation - that doesn't help us though.

I have said it many times,on the ball he can be brilliant,his weight of pass and vision is up their with the best......but that all depends on him not being pressured,being given the luxury of time and space,and not having to get involved in any dirty work - add in any of that and he mostly becomes a passenger.

In summary,he can be useful under the right lights but i wouldn't want his attributes anywhere near a game where we have to dig in and show our metal as he becomes a lightweight liability.

Hopefully he decides his final payday lies elsewhere.

It's not saying much but he was our best player last night.

just doesn't seem to care. He makes simple safe passes most of there time (though he is clearly capable of better) and doesn't affect the game consistently enough. He has good performances in him but our level drops with him in the team over Benardo or KDB.
