I’ve been very critical of him in the past but he’s stepped up to the mark in recent months and tonight he basically played in midfield on his own. Silva was anonymous and Foden looked completely out of his depth.

Only negative.......if I had got hold of him after that pass in the 92nd min, I would have throttled him.

Maybe right on Zinchenko but he is young enough to get there. Have you seen him with Ukraine? He has looked so good in that position with 1-2s, link-up plays and range of passing so I think it's worth exploring.

If we poach some Leicester players I'm kinda whatever, I think they are fine, but not really anything special.

Well if you want to try Zee at DM getting Chillwell who already plays our style is a no brainer. I think that more so than their talents is what has Pep's brain doing calculations:)

2nd game in a row he has done that. Strange as fuck from such an experienced and calm operator. He kicked the late freekick into Burnley's box too last week. Strange! Strange! Love him though. Think he is just money at DM.

Anyone one who singles out his goof in the closing minutes and fails to mention how he marshalled the center virtually all by himself has got some explaining to do to me. He was fantastic tonight and this coming from a very vocal critic of Gundogan.

I've only ever praised what he brings to this team on this thread(look it up). But he's just awful defensively and looks scared to put a tackle in incase he gets hurt. And unfortunately long term that's a negative that outweighs the positives.
